Nothing to install
Here is a sample page. Each profile adjusts several things at once. This is a simplified demo: the real widget offers 27 settings, which visitors combine as they wish.
See better or Senior comfort? "See better" changes the look (maximum contrast, highly legible font) for very low vision. "Senior comfort" keeps the site's look and adds space and large click areas. In the real widget, you can combine them.
New
Registration for the winter season opens on Monday 4 November. You can sign up online, by post or in person at the town hall reception, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Please bring proof of address and a medical certificate issued within the last three months. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Just one line of code to paste, or the WordPress plugin. Wherever you can add code to a website, the widget works: no module to develop, no server to configure.
WordPress: plugin. PrestaShop: module. All others: one line to paste into the site's code ("Custom Code" on Wix or Webflow, which may only be available on some plans). On mobile, the panel opens as a drawer across the full width of the screen. The page never overflows, and a "Make the button smaller" option makes the button even smaller.
A small 58 px button in a corner, never in the middle of the text. Until the visitor uses it, the page does not change: nothing is decided for them.
Keyboard shortcut Alt + Shift + A, keyboard navigation, closes with Esc. Screen readers announce the panel as a dialog.

In action

Questions
No. Octeasy is a reading comfort tool: it lets each visitor adapt the display. Whether a site meets accessibility standards such as WCAG or the French accessibility standard (RGAA) depends on its code and content. That is measured by an audit and achieved through fixes, which the widget does not replace.
No. Visitors always get every comfort feature, even when the site is on the free plan. What changes from one plan to another is for the site owner: button colours, credit, number of sites, statistics.
The widget sets no cookies and no trackers on your visitors' devices. Their settings are kept in their browser, only if they have changed something, and erased as soon as they go back to the default settings. The octeasy.com website itself measures its traffic without cookies.
It uses the browser's speech synthesis and only keeps the voices installed on the visitor's device. Online voices are left out, so the text is never sent to a third-party service. Quality therefore depends on the voices available on the device.
The script fits in a single file of about 29 KB compressed, with no dependencies, and loads with the defer attribute so it does not block page rendering. Measure the effect on your own site with your browser's tools.
