General terms of sale

This translation is provided for convenience; the French version prevails. Read the French version: Conditions générales de vente.

Draft dated 1 November 2026.

Draft, not yet applicable. These terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before paid accounts open. No paid subscription is sold at this time.

To be decided before accounts open. Subscription-specific terms: Studjoow's current terms of sale are written for services provided on quotation. The Octeasy subscription needs its own rules (renewal, cancellation, availability, liability).

1. Seller

Octeasy subscriptions are sold and invoiced by John Houzi, Studjoow, Ossek Mourshé (self-employed worker licensed in Israel, comparable to a micro-entrepreneur under French law), Israeli tax number 337927834, 49 Abarbanel, Tel Aviv 6608912, Israel. Contact: hello@octeasy.com.

2. Purpose

Octeasy is a reading comfort widget that the customer installs on their website. It lets each visitor adjust the display. It does not make a site meet the requirements of the RGAA (the French accessibility standard), replaces neither an audit nor fixes to the site, and does not protect the customer legally.

3. Plans and prices

  • The plans and what they include are described on the Pricing page.
  • Prices are shown in euros, excluding tax. They are indicative until accounts open.
  • Monthly or annual payment. Annual billing includes two months free.
  • Non-profit organisations (associations): 50% off Essential and Pro, with proof of status.
  • Public bodies (collectivités): a standard quote and invoice are available, with payment by public sector purchase order (mandat administratif).

4. Taxes

To be decided before accounts open. VAT on the subscription. For a customer in the European Union who is a taxable person for VAT (business, public body), VAT is in principle reverse-charged by the buyer. For a customer who is not a taxable person (individual, non-profit), the VAT of their country is in principle due, even for a seller established outside the Union. To be confirmed with an accountant before payment is enabled.

5. Payment

Card payments go through Stripe. No bank details pass through Studjoow's servers. Invoices are issued by Studjoow and available in the customer area.

6. Term, renewal and cancellation

The subscription renews at the end of each period (month or year). The customer can cancel it at any time from their customer area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. The site then moves back to the free plan: the widget keeps working, with the entitlements of that plan.

To be decided before accounts open. Right of withdrawal for consumer customers in the European Union, and governing law: Studjoow's terms of sale provide for Israeli law and the courts of Tel Aviv. To be checked with a lawyer for consumer customers.

7. Service availability

Studjoow uses its best efforts to keep the service available. If the configuration service does not respond, the widget still works with its default settings: visitors keep all the reading comfort features.

8. Personal data

See the privacy policy.
